Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 14. team. 55. Let’s talk about sacks, baby. The number would be eight as the Steelers defense knocked out Cody Kessler and then harassed Josh McCown. Pittsburgh entered the game with 13 quarterback traps in their first nine outings of the season. But the busiest person in this game was Pittsburgh running back Le’Veon Bell. He carried the ball 28 times for 146 yards and a touchdown. He added eight receptions for 55 yards. All told, his 36 touches for 201 yards rivaled the Browns’ entire offense, which gained 209 total yards on 62 offensive plays. The Steelers snapped a four-game losing streak, played turnover-free football and did not allow a sack in the much-needed victory.
Next Week: It’s a short week for Mike Tomlin’s erratic team as the Steelers head to Indianapolis for the first time since 2011 for a Thanksgiving night tilt with the 5-5 Colts. It’s worth noting that Pittsburgh has hosted and defeated Indianapolis the last two seasons by an amazing combined score of 96-44.

Playoff hopes: While it has been a rough stretch for the Black and Gold, the fact remains that the Steelers are tied for first place the Baltimore Ravens. The team is 2-1 within the division and finishes the season with three straight games against their AFC North rivals, traveling to Cincinnati in Week 15 and then hosting the Ravens and Browns to close the year.
. 5-5
