50. The Lions won yet again at home, this time over the reeling Jacksonville Jaguars. Matthew Stafford threw for 278 yards, but relied heavily on his defense and special teams to provide the scoring. Rafael Bush had a pick-six off Blake Bortles in the third quarter, and Andre Roberts had a 55-yard punt return touchdown in the second. An Eric Ebron rushing score and a field goal helped seal the Lions fourth win at home this season, and push them further up the leaderboard in the NFC North race. The team has finally looked to have turned a corner, but how much further they have to go is still a question.
Next Week: It feels like the Lions play at home every week, and nothing will change as they host the Vikings on Thanksgiving. It will be a short turnaround for Jim Caldwell with less than four days to prepare his team for a tough NFC North fight.

Playoff hopes: The Thanksgiving game will be a crucial one for the NFC North with Detroit and Minnesota tied at 6-4 and with nearly identical tie-breaker records. Detroit already has one win over the Vikings, which would be the tie-breaker should both teams finish tied at the end of the season. It;s playoff football in November.
. 6-4. Previous: .
