Since the big reveal last week on The Vampire Diaries that Alaric’s nanny Seline is the second siren, the big question is what is her plan? How do the twins fit into the mix?

The reveal that Caroline and Alaric hired a siren to be their nanny was shocking. But given everything Alaric has gone through on The Vampire Diaries, the audience should have been prepared for a twist like this. Now that we have seen an entire episode armed with this Seline is a siren information, what could her plan be?

Matt received a box from Tyler containing years of information on Seline. But she did a good job of hiding from The Armory while Sybil was locked in the vault for the past 200 years. Her plan licking into high gear now that Sybil is free can’t be a coincidence.

Seeing as the sirens both work for Cade, it would make sense that their working on the same plan, just attacking it in different ways. Seline’s role involves gaining the trust of two powerful witches. They just happen to also be five year-old twins. As the last members of the Gemini coven, Lizzie and Josie’s powers will only grow, so Seline needs them for something powerful.

Given the drawing seen at the end of Friday’s episode, Seline could ultimately be planning a way to bring Cade back to this world. Sybil, by way of Damon, is looking for artifacts, while Seline is in charge of getting the magical power they need. This explains why she needed to pose as the nanny. To gain the trust of the twins so they would willingly help.

If Cade truly is the devil of The Vampire Diaries and the plan is to bring him to this world, then the characters won’t have to worry about going to hell. It sounds like hell may be coming to Mystic Falls.
