Leicester faces Club Brugge at King Power Stadium on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Leicester hosts Club Brugge in Week 5 of Champions League group stage action, as the Group G leaders need only a draw to advance to the last 16, while the visiting squad is still seeking its first points of the tournament. The match will air at 2:45 p.m. ET in the States.
Leicester currently find themselves in the bizarre position of advancing through to the knockout round of the Champions League, possibly as a group winner, while also fighting to avoid relegation in the Premier League.
It has clearly been a tale of two seasons for the reigning champions of England, who were fortunate in their group drawing, but have not been so fortunate in their title defense. Currently sitting a disappointing 14th in the table, coming off losses to Watford and West Bromwich Albion, Leicester are just two points off 18th place Hull City.
Club Brugge are one of only two teams still on zero points in the tournament, in addition to Dinamo Zagreb, and are just hoping for a strong finish against Leiceister and Copenhagen to salvage their reputation in Europe. In their fifth Champions League appearance, the Belgian club are looking to snap a four-match losing streak in European competition as a fifth straight loss would set a club record. Club Brugge is currently 4th in the Belgian First Division A.
