Both Messi and Gerard Pique will be ready for their Champions League clash with Celtic in Glasgow on Wednesday, according to Barcelona manager Luis Enrique. They are first in Group C with nine points, two ahead of Manchester City, one of the clubs said to be targeting an unlikely swoop for Messi. One point from their last two group matches should be all that is needed to see them through to the round of 16.
Celtic, while dominating the Scottish league, have failed to make an impact in European play; they are currently sitting at the bottom of Group C with two points. After hosting Barca on Wednesday, they will finish Champions League group play against City. Taking any points from these matches will be quite the accomplishment for Celtic.
