High Value PG

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,700): In one of the games with the most potential value plays, the Magic and the Suns meet in Orlando. Payton will be in a good matchup against a Phoenix backcourt allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG so far this season. Payton can produce nice fantasy lines even when he isn’t scoring a ton of points as he showed with his 8-9-7 line against the Bucks when he contributed 34.3 fantasy points. He has over 24 fantasy points in for of his last five, and he should be able to return solid value in tonights plus matchup.

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,400): Frazier was expected to lose all value once Jrue Holiday returned, but he has stayed very involved in the Pelicans’ backcourt over the last few games and is one of the main reasons the team has started to pick up some nice wins. Frazier had a huge night last night going off for 21 points and 14 assists as the Pelicans rolled past the Hawks. He had 53 fantasy points in that contest and now has at least 27 fantasy points in three straight. Holiday’s return definitely muddies the waters in New Orleans’ backcourt, but Frazier is showing he can still be a big and meaningful part of the rotation. He’s in a great matchup tonight against the T-Wolves in the second game of ESPN’s double-header.

Jamal Murray-Denver Nuggets (3,800): Murray was a great play last night as a flier pick in my FanDuel daily picks. He finished with 24 points in his 22 minutes for the Nuggets and had 34.2 fantasy points. He has at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last five games now, and he should keep getting plenty of playing time while Gary Harris is sidelined. The rookie out of Kentucky has a lot of upside, but he’s a streaky producer who will continue to be a boom-or-bust play for the Nuggets tonight in Utah.

Jerryd Bayless-Philadlephia 76ers (3,500): Bayless will likely eventually end up in the Sixers’ starting lineup, but for now he’s still working his way back. He made his season debut on Monday but shot just 1-7 coming off the bench and finished with 11.9 fantasy points. He’ll be much better than that when he gets back to 100%, but until then he’s just a risky pick with a lot of upside for a sneaky-not-terrible team in Philly.
