Here’s a look at what college football fans can expect during Week 13 of the 2016 season, including predictions for the Top 25 teams.

If there was ever a reason why college football is the best sport out there, the Thanksgiving weekend would be it. Between rivalry games, conference showdowns and bowl berths on the line, there is so much for the next three days to offer even the casual fan.

From Tuscaloosa to Tallahassee and Columbus to Clemson, the 13th week of the college football season will have all the top teams in action – with almost all the teams locked into emotional rivalry games against in-state or conference foes.

Here’s a look ahead at Week 13 of the 2016 college football season.

Game of The Week – No. 3 Michigan at No. 2 Ohio State

The series that, for decades, has been one of the tops in all sports now reaches its biggest point since the teams were ranked No. 1 and No. 2 back in the 2006 season. The Wolverines come in knowing that a win gives them the Big Ten East title and, more than likely, a guaranteed playoff berth.

The Buckeyes, meanwhile, need help if they want to get to Indianapolis and then back to the playoff system. Still, they come in as the favorite – one of the positives that come with beating your hated rival 11 of the last 12 times they’ve played.

While Ohio State may be the better story since they lost so much talent off last year’s team and are still in the playoff talk, this is the year that Michigan has the best shot of breaking their latest losing streak to their rivals and taking over the Big Ten for a season.

The key to the game will be the play of Michigan’s quarterback. If John O’Korn can manage the game and do the little things right, the Wolverines will get their first win in Columbus since 2000.
