4. Offensive Line

How the team has survived their last eight games without Watkins has had a lot to do with the offensive line. There are not big names on the line, but it has turned up the running game this year and has given Taylor the time he needs to grow as a passer.

The Bills come into their week 12 game as the most efficient rushing team in the NFL. As a team they are averaging 5.3 yards per attempt which leads the league by a half-yard per attempt.

Lesean McCoy does have a lot to do with that, he is having a great year, but this Bills offensive line deserves a little more credit. Richie Incognito and Cordy Glenn have held down the left side of the line all season. John Miller and Jordan Mills are unknown names, but both have really taken strides this season in paving the way for McCoy on the right side.

Last week, the team played their first game without starting center Eric Wood. They faced off against Geno Atkins, one of the best interior lineman in the NFL, but still ran for 183 yards and averaged 5.3 yards per carry. The unit kept pushing, and as the games get colder and the snow matriculates to Buffalo, this could be a huge advantage they have on opposing teams. Add in Watkins, and this offense could be ready to make noise in December.
