Cologne, Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin are 4th, 5th, and 6th respectively. Frankfurt bring up the bottom of the 21-pointers in seventh place, possessing a goal difference of seven.
But Frankfurt have been playing well as of late, going undefeated in their last five league games, winning four of their last three. It goes without saying that a win on Saturday could make a huge difference in their table position.
Dortmund have won their last two league games and are undefeated in their last five. BVB will be bolstered by their midweek Champions League win over Legia Warsaw that saw them pour in eight (!) goals. Together with Warsaw — who scored four of their own — they set the record for most combined goals scored in a Champions League match.
