The Penn State fans in attendance at Happy Valley celebrated Ohio State defeating Michigan to the tune of Mariah Carey’s “All i want for Christmas is you.”

The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Michigan Wolverines in double overtime on Saturday. The game was an absolute classic that featured several memorable plays on the field. With the win by Ohio State, Penn State just had to defeat Michigan State to go to the Big Ten Championship.

With plenty of reason to celebrate the Buckeyes helping them out, the fans in attendance for Penn State decided to sing along to Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is you” during the game against Michigan State.

Needless to say, everyone in attendance was scoreboard watching. The Buckeyes’ win had plenty of implications on the conference and it really helped out the Nittany Lions. Their win over the Buckeyes means they get to go to the conference championship game with a win.

While the Buckeyes are likely playoff bound and get a chance at something bigger, having a shot to compete for the conference is huge this year for Penn State. Not many predicted them to finish where they did this year but it’s been a fantastic season.

Therefore, it’s only fitting that they bust out the Christmas music and want Ohio State to win. It’s hilarious, catchy and shows the good time being had in the stadium. It’s hard to get everything to align in sports, but it sure felt like it was going to.
