The NBA worked around the Thanksgiving holiday this past week, and are now lined up to close out a busy sports weekend with eight games lined up for Sunday. There are a couple of matinees featuring the Cavaliers @ 76ers and Nuggets @ Suns. Those contests aren’t in the main DraftKings competitions, though, so they won’t be in today’s DraftKings daily picks. Instead, today’s picks come from the six games starting at 6:00 PM ET or later. There are some good games on tap for tonight, so check out these DraftKings daily picks to help you build your DFS fantasy basketball lineup.

More from DraftKings

Three of the six games scheduled for tonight tip off right at 6:00 PM ET which is when rosters lock in for evening. In that early time slot, the Kings are in Brooklyn to face the Nets, the Bucks take on the Magic for the second time this week, and the Pacers host the Clippers who are coming off their first road loss of the season.  At 7:00, the Pelicans travel to Dallas to face the struggling Mavericks followed at 9:00 by the Rockets heading to Portland to take on the Blazers. The last game of the night features Dwight Howard’s return to LA as the Hawks face the Lakers at 9:30. None of the teams playing tonight are on the second night of back-to-back games since all of them played their last game on Friday. It is worth noting that the Hawks and Kings are scheduled to play tomorrow which could impact their rotation if their games get one-sided.

There are plenty of matchups to take a look at from those 12 teams taking the floor tonight, and I’ve selected my favorite options on the next few slides for today’s DraftKings daily picks. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

Just a reminder that in my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub.
