High Salary PG

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (9,300): “The Alphabet” has been heating up lately and had a very nice triple-double on Monday with 21-10-10 (points-rebounds-assists) adding three blocks and five steals to get to 67 fantasy points. That monster game came against the Magic who he’ll face again tonight who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG.  Atetokounmpo followed that up with 54.5 fantasy points on Friday against the Raptors giving him at least 54 fantasy points in four of his last six. He should be set up for success in tonight’s plus matchup.

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (8,900): Lillard started the season on fire, had a bit of a lull, but has gotten back to torching opposing defense in his last two games. He  had a monster 68.24 fantasy points on Wednesday night in Cleveland going for 40-7-11 and followed that up with 27-4-11 for 53 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Friday. Lillard was limited to just 32.75 the last time he Blazers played the Rockets, but that was in the middle of a tough road trip instead of at home where he usually fares better. If you have the money to spend at PG, he’s my top option tonight as he tries to help his team keep up with the three-point barrage of the Rockets.∗∗

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (6,900): With several key players battling injuries the past week, Teague has stepped up for his new team and been one of the best PG of the past week. He has at least 35 fantasy points in three of his last four games during that stretch which started last week with a 30-5-9 game in OKC where he posted 61.75 fantasy points last Sunday. Teague’s price is no longer under 7K where he represented great value, and he’s in a tough matchup against Chris Paul. Still, he’s a solid play at this price especially since Paul George is out tonight.∗∗

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (6,400): Holiday has played in only five games this season, but already has made a noticeable difference for his team. He’s coming off the bench but has at least 29 fantasy points in four of his five games including on Friday when he had 16-4-5 against Portland. Tonight, he’s got a good matchup against the banged-up Dlaas backcourt and makes a solid play at just over 6K.
