High Salary SF

Rudy Gay-Sacramento Kings (6,800): Gay came down to earth a little bit in his last game on Friday totaling just 25.5 fantasy points against the Rockets. Before that, he had posted 34.75 fantasy points and 46.75 fantasy points aginst the Thunder and Raptors respectively. Gay is a pricey investment at just under 7K, but he is in a good matchup against the Nets who are giving up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF. He’s the most expensive SF on the board expected to play tonight, but he comes with both some tantalizing upside and some significant risk.

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (5,800): Barnes had a down game on Friday too finishing with just 18.21 fantasy points on 12 points and five rebounds. He had posted over 32 fantasy points in each of his two previous games and in six of his previous nine. With Deron Williams and Dirk Nowitzki back, Barnes is no longer the only option in Dallas’s offense, but his fantasy value could dip as a result of his shared workload.∗∗

Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (5,700): The Rockets have been getting solid production from Ariza all season, and he has posted over 26 fantasy points in six of his last eight games. He piled up 39.25 fantasy points on Friday with 18-9-3 and a pair of steals. He has at least 11 points in seven of his last eight games and plays 30+ minutes almost every night for the high-scoring Rockets. He had a solid 16-7-0 against the Blazers for 28.75 fantasy points in their earlier meeting, and he should be a solid, low-risk play tonight.
