Patriots at Jets live stream: How to watch online
Here is everything you need to know about Sunday’s showdown between the New England Patriots and New York Jets.
With Week 12 set to start on Thanksgiving, the NFL will have every team take the field this week. One of the highlights on this week’s schedule is Sunday’s battle between the Patriots and Jets.
These two teams come in at opposite ends of the AFC East standings. The Patriots enter Sunday in first place at 8-2, while the Jets are 3-7 and in last place.
Each team has had their share of quarterback controversy this year. Legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed the first four games of the season, serving a suspension related to his “Deflategate” scandal. For the Jets, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick held out of training camp while waiting for a new contract. Fitzpatrick and the Jets finally reached an agreement on July 27th.
Brady has been unbelievable so far in 2016, leading the NFL in total QBR. He has thrown 16 touchdowns to only one interception, winning five of the six games he started.
On the other hand, Fitzpatrick has been dreadful this year. Of the 33 quarterbacks eligible, Fitzpatrick is 32nd in total QBR. After throwing only 15 interceptions in his 2015 season, he has 13 through nine games this year.
Due to his poor play, Fitzpatrick was benched following a 1-5 start. West Virginia alum Geno Smith was named the starter for Week 7 vs. Baltimore. Ironically, Fitzpatrick returned to the No.1 quarterback role when Smith was injured.
New England is coming off a 30-17 win in Week 11, while the Jets were on their bye week.
