The Tennessee Titans look to keep their playoff hopes alive in Week 12 when they visit the Chicago Bears.

On Sunday Nov. 27, the Chicago Bears (2-8) host the Tennessee Titans (5-6). With a win and a loss by the Houston Texans, the Titans will be tied with the Texans in wins. They still have a very realistic chance of winning the AFC South, but Sunday is a must win game if the dream is to become a reality.

Tennessee will turn to their high octane offense to try to beat the Bears. Second year quarterback Marcus Mariota has proven to be more than just a product of Chip Kelly’s system at Oregon. Not only is he a very capable rusher, he has developed into one of the best passers in the NFL. Mariota has 3,036 total yards and 25 touchdowns. Moreover, he has just eight interceptions, though he has six fumbles as well. DeMarco Murray already has a 1,000 yard rushing season. Also, he has 1,268 combined yards and 11 total touchdowns with zero fumbles.

Meanwhile, the Bears will likely be starting former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Matt Barkley. Thanks to injuries to Jay Cutler and Brian Hoyer, Chicago has no other real option. They have one of the least efficient offenses in the NFL and their defense is subpar in terms of allowing points.

Highlights

Highlights will be added and updated as the game progresses.

Three Stars

1. DeMarco Murray

Expect the Titans running back to have a field day against the Bears run defense. Chicago allows just 98 yards a game, but with their offense on the fritz, their defense should get tired early. Murray is averaging 90.9 rushing yards per game and 24.4 receiving yards per game.

2. Marcus Mariota

Mariota will be a key to the Titans’ success on Sunday. He gets a bit of a test against Chicago, as they allow 241.2 passing yards a game, the 12th fewest in the NFL. However, the Bears also allow 23.7 points a game, 18th in the NFL. Mariota has been playing great as of late, so expect him to continue that trend.

3. Jordan Howard

The Bears running back could have a huge day on Sunday. While the Titans have a strong offense, their defense leaves a lot to be desired. With a weak passing game, they’ll have to turn to Howard to get anything done on offense.
