Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 16. team. 35. Thanks to another efficient performance by second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota, the Titans jumped on the Bears in the Windy City but were unable to blow out their hosts. However, Mike Mularkey’s club held on for dear life and evened their record at 6-6 via their third road victory of the season. Mariota threw for 226 yards and a pair of scores – the eighth straight game that the young signal-caller has thrown for two or more touchdowns. Rookie Derrick Henry led the team with 60 yards on the ground as Tennessee rolled up 149 rushing yards on 29 attempts. And the team’s improving offensive line did not allow a sack in the game.
Next Week: The Titans, along with the Cleveland Browns, are the last teams to get a week off. Mularkey and company could certainly use a break considering their physical style of football. When they return to action in Week 14, Tennessee will play host to the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

Playoff hopes: If all goes well for the Titans next Sunday, the Houston Texans will lose at Lambeau Field to the Green Bay Packers. That means Mularkey and his young club will be tied for first place in the AFC South. Regardless of the results of that contest, six wins has you in the postseason conversation these days.
. 6-6
