8-3. Previous: . New York Giants. 6. team. 31. New York looked vulnerable at times against the winless Cleveland Browns, leading by just eight points in the fourth quarter. The defense took a step-up, and a Jonathan Hankins strip-sack resulted in a Jason Pierre-Paul touchdown. Odell Beckham Jr. provided the majority of the scoring for the Giants, recording two touchdowns and imitating LeBron James’ old ritual in the end zone. Outside of OBJ, the Giants offense failed to excite the fans. Running back is still an area needing a solution, and no receiver other than Beckham had more than two catches. The two-man show in New York is still selling out, and it may take them deep into the playoffs.
Next Week: The Giants travel to Pittsburgh for what should be a very entertaining game. We will get a chance to see how well the Giants defense can contain Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell after cashing their checks this offseason. This game could spell the end of the Giants six-game win streak.

Playoff hopes: Dallas has all-but clinched the NFC East, leaving the Giants as the top contenders to take home a wild card spot. They will compete with Washington, Philadelphia, Minnesota, New Orleans, and Green Bay for the opportunity to extend their season, and are in a great position to do so.
