Chicago Bears. 29. team. 57. Chicago was forced to start Matt Barkley with Jay Cutler and Brian Hoyer both out with potentially season-ending injuries. Barkley has been a shell of his USC days, but was still able to connect for his first three NFL touchdowns on Sunday. He had the chance to win the game for the Bears, but too many wide receiver errors ultimately cost him the win. Tennessee is a very hot team, and the Bears were no match for Marcus Mariota. Their defense allowed five third down conversions, and could not make up for Barkley’s two interceptions.
Next Week: The Bears host the 49ers in what should be the most unwatchable game of the season. Both teams would technically fair better if they lost, but no player or coach will have that mindset. Ultimately, the loser may be the real winner come draft day next spring.

Playoff hopes: Chicago has effectively been eliminated from the playoffs, and the front office will undergo a full evaluation of the team. From each position to coach, this team should be stripped bear and built from the ground up. Find your quarterback or star on defense, and go from there with a new head coach who will be around for the long-term.
. 2-9. Previous:
