While Benedict Cumberbatch tries to look deep into the minds of the Packers, the organization should be moving on from Mike McCarthy. The time has come, and all good things must come to an end. With 10 years and a championship, the Packers era under McCarthy was as impressive as we have seen this side of the new millennium. Aaron Rodgers should not be an issue going forward, and no one should doubt his abilities at this point. The team has grown tired and is beaten up far too much on defense at this point of the long season. <p>Next Week: Philadelphia will host the Packers on Monday Night Football, presenting an interesting match-up. The Eagles have not lost at home all season, and the fans have provided a unique atmosphere from day one. With Jon Gruden watching from above, Rodgers needs to find the answer to his struggles quickly.</p> <p>Playoff hopes: The playoffs may be out of reach for Green Bay depending on what happens in Philadelphia on Monday. Detroit has made its move and now leads the pack with the Vikings straggling just ahead. Unless they make a miraculous recovery, the Packers could be booking their vacations far too early.</p>. 4-6
