The Green Bay Packers handed the Philadelphia Eagles their first home loss of the season on Monday Night Football in Week 12, 27-13. Green Bay improves to 5-6 on the year, while Philadelphia stumbles to 5-6.
Monday Night Football in Week 12 would go to the Green Bay Packers, as they shook the Philadelphia Eagles, 27-13. Green Bay keeps its playoff dreams alive at 5-6, while Philadelphia probably won’t win the NFC East at 5-6.
The Packers had a 14-10 lead heading into halftime of Monday Night Football against the Eagles. Aaron Rodgers played well in the first half with a pair of touchdown passes, doing everything in his power to keep the Packers’ slim NFC Playoff chances alive.
Not to be outdone, Carson Wentz kept the Eagles in this ball game with an impressive rushing touchdown. A Caleb Sturgis field goal would keep it tight in Philadelphia heading into halftime. The Eagles and Packers would exchange field goals to make 17-13 Green Bay heading into the fourth quarter.
Green Bay would extend its lead over the Eagles on a one-yard Aaron Ripkowski touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to make it 24-13 Packers after the made Mason Crosby PAT. Ripkowski became the first Packer running back to score a rushing touchdown this season. It’s Week 12!

The Packers would add another Crosby field goal inside the two-minute warning and would best the Eagles in Philadelphia 27-13. Overall, the Eagles couldn’t do much on offense and were dominated in time of possession by Rodgers and the Packers.
This was a win that both teams needed, but Green Bay was the team that came out on top. The Packers are only two games back of the Detroit Lions in the NFC North at 5-6. Philadelphia falls to 5-6 on the year and is now six games back of the 10-1 Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East race.

- Aaron Rodgers: Rodgers was outstanding on Monday Night Football. He completed 30 of 39 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns. He would also carry the football six times for 26 yards.
- Davante Adams: Adams caught both of Rodgers’ touchdown passes. He had five catches for 113 yards and those two scores.
- Jordy Nelson: Nelson had eight grabs for 91 yards as Rodgers’ most targeted receiver.
