There is only one word that can describe the high-scoring game played between the Syracuse Orange and Pittsburgh Panthers this past weekend, and that word is WOW! The two teams combined for 137 points during their ACC contest, with the Panthers winning the game, 76-61. While they did not come away with the win, Syracuse did showcase one of the better all-around wide receivers in college football.

Amba Etta-Tawo was all over the place for the Orange against Pitt, catching 13 balls for 178 yards. While those stats are impressive on their own, it was his five touchdowns that make him our third-ranked player of Week 13. The five touchdowns were the most ever scored by a single player for Syracuse in one game, as Etta-Tawo continues to etch his name in the school’s record books.

Etta-Tawo finished the season as the school’s single-season record holder in catches (94), and yards (1,482), with his yards placing him second in the nation for the season. For the season, Etta-Tawo went over 100 yards in a game seven times, while going over 200 twice. He has scored at least one touchdown in the last three games, and will get to display his talents at the Senior Bowl in 2017.
