High Salary PG

Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (8,800): Most of the big stars are at other positions on FanDuel tonight leaving Chris Paul as the most expensive PG on the board in a great matchup against the Nets. Brooklyn is allowing more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA which would seem to set CP3 up for a big night. The only problem is that Paul’s performance has been trending down lately. He has been held under 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games and had just 25.8 fantasy points on Sunday in his latest game. There’s also a good chance this game turns into a blowout, so Paul isn’t quite as safe an investment as he appears even in this great matchup.

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,200): Irving had a season-high 39 points against the 76ers on Sunday and finished with 45.8 fantasy points on 39-4-2 (points-rebounds-assists). He has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last six contests and should be able to deliver around that number again tonight against the Bucks. Milwaukee is allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game, though, so Irving could have to deal with the Giannis Antetokounmpo matchup which could definitely prove challenging. However, Milwaukee may choose to guard LeBron with Giannis which would leave Kyrie with a favorable matchup against former-teammate Matthew Dellavedova.

George Hill-Utah Jazz (6,800): After last night’s win in Minnesota, George Hill needed stitches to close a laceration in his mouth. However, he still played his usual minutes and played very well for the Jazz. In each of his three games since coming back from his thumb injury, Hill has at least 34 fantasy points and had 37.6 fantasy points on 24-8-4 last night. Tonight, he’ll take on the Rockets in what could be a high-scoring game in Utah. He’ll have to deal with the pesky Patrick Beverley, but I still think Hill is underpriced after posting at least 34 fantasy points in six of his last seven games dating back to before his injury. ∗∗
