High Value PG

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,100): Frazier has been held under 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games, but he keeps getting plenty of playing time. He has logged at least 30 minutes in six straight games, and he looks like he’ll keep getting plenty of opportunity at least until Tyreke Evans is back in the mix. Frazier has a sky-high ceiling as he has shown with four games over 40 fantasy points this season, but he is coming off a disappointing few games on the Pelicans last road trip. He takes on the Lakers tonight who won’t have D’Angelo Russell, and I think Frazier is an intriguing boom-or-bust play at just over 5K.∗∗

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (4,500): The Spurs are home tonight and on the road tomorrow, so I think it’s likely that Parker will play tonight and rest tomorrow if he plays just half of the back-to-back. He gets a good matchup against Orlando tonight and is coming off a season-high 20 points on Saturday in Washington. He has at least 17 fantasy points in six of his last eight games played and is relatively low-risk as long as we hear who Pop is resting/playing before tipoff. If confirmed as starter-∗∗

Matthew Dellavedova-Milwaukee Bucks (4,100): Delly faces his former team from Cleveland tonight in Milwaukee in a potential revenge game. He has actually been producing pretty solid overall lines lately with at least eight assists in three of his last five games and at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last six. If you decide to go big at other positions, Dellavedova is a solid cheap play who should be motivated to step up and produce against his former squad tonight. ∗∗∗∗

D.J. Augustin-Orlando Magic (3,600): I had DJA in my FanDuel daily picks for Sunday not knowing that he’d end up in the starting lineup after coach Frank Vogel shook things up. Augustin moved into the starting spot in place of Elfrid Payton and played 25 minutes finishing with 11-2-5 and 20. fantasy points. He was already getting that much time off the bench and will probably remain in a pretty even timeshare whether starting or coming off the bench. Augustin has at least 14 fantasy points in three of his last five games, but he’s still risky since ultimately the Magic need to get better with the younger Payton at the point.

Jose Calderon-Los Angeles Lakers (3,500): Calderon is starting for the injured D’Angelo Russell and has posted 27.2 fantasy points, 18.8 fantasy points, 17.2 fantasy points, and 18.2 fantasy points in his four games in the lineup. His playing time is still dependent on how Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams fare, but Calderon is worth a look at the minimum salary if you have to go way cheap on PG tonight.
