High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (12,000): Davis would be a lock for fantasy-beast of the season if it wasn’t for the crazy stats of Russell Westbrook. Davis has at least 58 fantasy points in five of his last six games and posted 60.2 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday with 36-13-3 along with two steals and a block. When he faced LA earlier this year, he had 34-8-2 and four blocks for 49.6 fantasy points, but I think he’ll outperform that tonight at home and be worth his 12K salary.

Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (8,400): Love has been on a crazy run lately  posting double-doubles in nine of his last ten games and posting at least 45 fantasy points in three of his last five contests. He had 57.1 fantasy points last Wednesday against the Blazers and followed that with 50 more fantasy points against the Mavs last Friday. Toinght, he should be primed for another monster night as he faces the Bucks who have struggled with opposing big men this season. I’d expect another 20-10 night from Love with the potential for another night of 50+ fantasy points if things go his way and the game is competitive throughout. ∗∗∗∗

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,200): Ibaka had 19-6-1 with a pair of blocks against the Bucks on Sunday to finish with 31.7 fantasy points. He has over 31 fantasy points in four of his last five games and has now blocked multiple shots in five straight while scoring 15+ points in five of his last six.  He’s not in an easy matchup against the Spurs, but it’s one that he should know well from his time in OKC. Ibaka is definitely emerging as an offensive contributor for the Magic who still have issues to work out around their big offseason acquisition.
