3. An offense still capable of putting up points

Nobody has to tell you that the Panthers have one of the best offenses in the league led by a dominate quarterback (more on that later).

But one of the woes facing Carolina this season has, strangely, been a lack of continuity on offense. Their 32-point eruption against a stout Raiders defense was the most they have scored in four weeks and just their third 30-plus point performance of the season from a team that surpassed that mark eight times last season.

Case in point, the Panthers’ offense is in a serious funk, largly thanks to Cam Newton playing hurt earlier in the season.

But this team till has some devastating weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Newton is one of the elites, Greg Olson is one of the top five tight ends in the league, and Kelvin Benjamin is a big time receiver. Add in a healthy Johanathan Stewart, a revived Ted Ginn Jr., and up-and-coming recieving threats Philly Brown and Devin Funchess, and you have the makigns of an offense that is still deadly whenever they touch the football.

After Seattle, the Panther’s offense won’t have little to impede them, so they should embrace their weapons to put the points on the board and make a miracle run for the playoffs.
