Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (5,500): Crowder had his minutes limit lifted before Monday’s game and played 32 against Miami putting together a typically-balanced line of 17-4-3 for 31.5 fantasy points. He has scored at least 15 points in three straight and has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last two. Crowder should be ready to produce tonight at home against the Pistons and makes sense since his price is still reduced due to his time out with injury. ∗∗∗∗
Maurice Harkless-Portland Trail Blazers (5,400): The Blazers spet a ton of money non Crowder’s former-teammate Evan Turner this offseason, but it has still been Maurice Harkless who has emerged as the forward option that pairs most effectively with McCollum and Lillard. Harkless has at least 25 fantasy points in four straight games and played a massive 38 minutes on Sunday against Houston finishing with 18-3-0 for 28.75 fantasy points. He had his first double-double of the season in his previous game finishing with 36.25 fantasy points on 19-11-1 against the Pelicans. The Pacers are usually pretty good against opposing SF, but they won’t have Paul George tonight, so Harkless should be able to attack Glen Robinson III. ∗∗∗
DeMarre Carroll-Toronto Raptors (4,500): Carroll has been a great value lately in my DraftKings daily picks and has at least 27 fantasy points in three of his last four games including a very nice 40.75 fantasy points against Houston last Wednesday night. Tonight, he’ll be in a tougher matchup against the Grizzlies, but Memphis is extremely injury-depleted which could allow him room to get double-digit scoring for his sixth straight game and a solid 25+ fantasy points again. ∗∗∗∗
P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (4,300): Another cheap veteran with some good recent stat lines is P.J. Tucker of the Suns who will likely start tonight against the Hawks with T.J. Warren still coming back from a head injury. Tucker had his best game of the season on Sunday finishing with 36 fantasy points on 21-8-1 against the Nuggets. He’ll look to build on that momentum as the Suns come home. Remember, though, even with Warren out Tucker had failed to reach 23 fantasy points in five straight before Sunday’s breakout. ∗∗
Troy Williams-Memphis Grizzlies (4,000): As previously mentioned, the injuries in Memphis continue to pile up and the list now includes Chandler Parsons, James Ennis, Mike Conley, and Brandan Wright who are all out and Vince Carter who is a a gametime decision. Since Memphis is so low on bodies, they’ve been giving lots of time to Troy Williams who was a preseason standout and who has looked solid in his first three games with the Grizz. He played 20 minutes and had 20.5 fantasy points against the Heat on Firday and followed that with 25.25 fantasy points in 35 minutes against Miami the next night. In his last game on Monday, Williams had a solid 19 fantasy points in 31 minutes on 9-2-3 and two steals. While he is unlikely to go off and carry the offense, eh should get enough playing time to pick up countable stats and may even get garbage-time production if things get lop-sided tonight in Toronto. He should at least return close to 20 fantasy points which isn’t bad at all for a player at just 4K. ∗∗∗∗
