High Value PF

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (4,800): Although many fantasy experts were looking for a breakout season from Jokic, he has struggled a little bit in the early part of the season and is now coming off the bench for coach Mike Malone. He has been relatively solid lately, though, at least enough to make him worth a look at under 5K. Jokic has at least 24 fantasy points in six straight games with over 24 in five of those contests. His best game during that stretch game Sunday against the Suns when he had 13-11-3 for a very nice 34.75 fantasy points. Tonight against the Heat, it’ll be interesting to see how the Dnever rotation shakes out, but Jokic should be able to get 25 or so fantasy points.∗∗∗

Larry Nance Jr.-Los Angeles Lakers (4,800): Nance continues to be a recurring option in my DraftKings daily picks since he’s still so affordable despite some solid recent production. He finished last night with 22.75 fantasy points on 8-5-3 even though Julus Randle returned and limited his playing time to just 20 minutes. Nance filled in well enough for Randle that the Lakers should try to get him some run even in a crowded front court. Last Sunday when the Lakers played the Bulls, Nance had a season-high 18 points to boost him to 34 fantasy points. His role is less certain with Randle back, but he’s still a solid play at under 5K.

Dwight Powell-Dallas Mavericks (3,300): The Mavs will be without Dirk again tonight as they host the Spurs which should open up increased playing time again for Dwight Powell. Powell has at least 13 fantasy points in each of his last five games and has posted at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games where he has played 20+ minutes. Powell played 26 minutes on Sunday against the Pelicans with 4-3-1 and a career-high five steals. He isn’t going to score a ton of points but can get you the “hustle” stats and a few rebounds as well.
