High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (11,300): Harden takes his road show to Oakland where he’ll try to help carry the Rockets against the Warriors. Harden’s monster numbers have been a little buried due to Russell Westbrook’s transcendence, but “The Beard” has at least 50 fantasy points in five of his last seven. He has only reached 55 fantasy points in one of his last five, though, so he’ll heed to step up to be fully worth his 11.3K salary. He’s in a matchup to do just that, though, so he’s definitely worth considering even though he’s so expensive.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (10,300): “The Alphabet” has been huge lately with over 50 fantasy points in three of his last four and his best fantasy game of the year on Tuesday against LeBron and the Cavs. In that contest he had 34-12-5 with five steals for 63.9 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll be in a much softer matchup against the Nets who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. Since Giannis runs the point most of the time for Milwaukee, he should be able to pile up fantasy points against Brooklyn tonight making him even a little better play than Harden on a points-per-dollar basis.

Klay Thompson-Houston Rockets (6,100): Klay is in a good matchup tonight against the Rockets who are allowing the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG and the most, by far, over their last five games. Thompson comes in with good momentum as well having posting over 28 fantasy points in six of his last seven games and scoring at least 18 points in each of those seven contests. On Monday, Thompson had 20-4-2 against the Hawks, and he should be ready to post another nice stat line tonight in a high-scoring finale to the night.
