5. Alabama takes over game halfway through third quarter.

The SEC Championship Game will play out like many of Alabama’s 12 victories this season. Alabama will slowly suffocate the opposing offense with is vaunted front-seven. The Crimson Tide will pound the rock midway through the third-quarter and milk the clock for all it’s worth.

Florida doesn’t have the aerial attack to play from behind late, especially against the Alabama front-seven. Either a strip sack of Florida quarterback Austin Appleby or a turnover on downs will inevitably sink the Gators late.

Alabama’s boa constrictor second-half game plan is the elephant in the room that nobody can handle. We know it’s coming and there is really nothing Florida can do about it wants Saban starts to sense victory is near.

Florida will play Alabama more competitively than it did last year in the 2015 SEC Championship. A major reason for that is that Derrick Henry isn’t in the Alabama backfield carrying the rock 45 times. It will be a two-score game until midway through the third quarter. Alabama will take advantage of a Florida miscue in that third frame and will never look back.
