While Devan Dubnyk has provided him with strong competition, Price barely edges out Dubnyk in the key categories.
Alex Galchenyuk leads the team in goals with nine and points with 22. Montreal’s assist leader is defenseman Andrei Markov. Shea Weber has 18 points in 23 games. While they have struggled as of late on offense, their defense has stepped up.
On the other side of the ice, San Jose is coming off a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday. They have a 6-3-1 record over their last 10 games. At home this season, the Sharks have an 8-3-0 record. Defenseman Brent Burns and forward Joe Pavelski are tied for the team lead with 21 points. Burns and Logan Couture each have nine goals, the most on the Sharks.
