High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,700): Anthony Davis continues to challenge Russell Westbrook for the most impressive statistical season despite Westbrook’s continued triple-doubles. “The Brow” has been just as impressive, though, when he has been healthy this season. He has at least 62 fantasy points in each of his last four games and six of his last seven. He had 79 fantasy points on Tuesday night against the Lakers on 41-16-3 with two blocks and four steals as well. He is regularly over 60 fantasy points which is enough to make him worth his staggering almost-12K salary. Tonight, Davis is in a less-than-ideal matchup against the Clippers who are allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing PF. However, they haven’t been quite as good lately as they have been as a hole on the season, and at home Davis has been a total beast when fully rested which he should be since New Orleans has had the last two days off. He’s pricey, but there’s no arguing with his recent production.

Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (8,500): Griffin will have the toughtask of trying to slow down “The Brow,”  but he should get a nice matchup on the other end where the Pelicans have been allowing the third-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF. Griffin played 31 minutes in the Clippers’ blowout win last night posting 37.75 fantasy points on 13-5-11. Before that, Griffin got a rest day on Tuesday, so he should be ready to roll tonight. He hasn’t reached 40 fantasy points in any of his last four games, but posted there straight with over 48 fantasy points before that. Given the matchup, I like him to reach at least 40+ tonight especially if he carries most of the offense if Doc decides to give Chris Paul a night off or at least limited minutes. ∗∗

Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (7,900): The Knicks are definitely turning into Porzingis’s team, and the sophomore forward has been a fantasy beast lately. He has at least 44 fantasy points in three of his last five games including 50 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Wednesday night. He had 29-8-4 in that game and also contributed multiple blocks for the fourth game in a row. He gets the same matchup again tonight, but this time at home as he continues to be the every-night star we saw flashes of last season. Look for another big game for the big-man tonight as the Knicks look to finish out their sweep of the Wolves.

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,800): Randle missed three games with a hip pointer injury, but he looked fully recovered on Wednesday against the Bulls as he hauled in 20 rebounds to go with his 13 points on his way to 44 fantasy points. It was his second straight double-double since returning from injury, and he’ll be back to his regular spot in my DraftKings daily picks if he keeps up his solid production. ∗∗

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,200): Another regularly recurring character in my DraftKings daily picks lately has been Serge Ibaka who has been one of the few bright spots for the Magic this season. Ibaka has at least 29 fantasy points in six of his last seven after posting 29 fantasy points last night in Memphis on 11-8-0 and four blocks. He had a similar game earlier this season when he faced the Sixers and is a good pick to be right around 30 fantasy points again tonight making him a nice 6K value.
