Vince Wilfork and Jadeveon Clowney swap jerseys at practice
Vince Wilfork and Jadeveon Clowney swapped jerseys at a Houston Texans practice. We’re not sure who looks more hilarious.
Sometimes teams have to do silly things to keep loose during the NFL season. It’s 17 weeks of beating other men into the ground. At some point, for the sake of your sanity, you have to do something fun during practice. For this reason, many players choose to swap jerseys with teammates during practice. Vince Wilfork and Jadeveon Clowney of the Houston Texans did this during a practice on Friday Dec. 2. You will never un-see the image of the two players and you might never stop laughing.
For the record, Wilfork is 6-foot-2 and 325 pounds while Clowney is a much more slim 6-foot-6 and 267 pounds. Who looks more comical? That’s a tough question. On one hand, Clowney looks like he’s wearing a dress. It’s almost like he’s a little kid who goes to a free t-shirt night and gets an adult XL because that’s all they have left.
However, Wilfork looks like he’s a backup dancer for Beyonce. The Texans probably got a great laugh about it, coaches and players alike. Everyone should be grateful Wilfork didn’t swap jerseys with cornerback Robert Nelson (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) or Charles James (5-foot-9, 185 pounds). Now that would be a site to see.

The Texans are looking to get a win against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday as they look to keep their AFC South division lead. They’re 6-5 on the season, but with the Tennessee Titans at 6-6, Sunday’s game is a must win game. Wilfork has 16 tackles this season, mostly serving as the Texans nose tackle. Meanwhile, Clowney has already set a career high with 41 tackles and 3.0 sacks this season. The former first round pick is finally getting healthy and on the field. He needs 1.5 more sacks to tie his career high of 4.5 sacks set during the 2015 season.
