Washington’s John Ross has remarkable one-handed TD catch (Video)
Washington Huskies wide receiver John Ross managed to turn a bad play into a remarkable one with a catch-and-run touchdown.
Washington wide receiver John Ross makes some insane plays out of nowhere on occasion. He made yet another one in the Pac-12 Championship Game against the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday night.
With the Huskies trying to build their lead over the Colorado Buffaloes, quarterback Jake Browning appeared to be taking a sack on the play. Instead, Browning unwisely threw the ball in the air at Ross.
Saving his quarterback from a bad throw, Ross managed to go up and snag the ball with one hand. From there, Ross was off to the races and sprinted straight into the end zone to give his team a bigger advantage over the Buffaloes.

If Ross doesn’t bring this pass in, then there is a very real chance it gets picked off by the defender and potentially taken for a pick-six. Browning did do a good job to avoid the sack but this play was all done by his best wide receiver.
Ross is a candidate to be one of the first wide receivers taken in the NFL Draft and his remarkable skills were all on display on this touchdown that extended Washington’s lead over Colorado.
