The Carolina Hurricanes face the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon and here’s how to watch this NHL game online via live stream. 

Saturday, Dec. 3 will feature a 1:00 p.m. ET matinée between two Metropolitan Division rivals as the New York Rangers (16-8-1) host the Carolina Hurricanes (9-9-5) at the historic Madison Square Garden. This game will be shown on MSG and Fox Sports Carolina. NHL.tv subscribers will be able to see it via the service.

Carolina enters Saturday’s showdown coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins on Thursday. They have a 6-3-1 record over their last ten games and a 3-6-5 record on the road. Carolina has a 1-1-0 record against New York this season, winning 3-2 in October and losing 3-2 in November.

The Hurricanes are led by forward Jeff Skinner, who leads them in goals (nine) and points (20). Center Victor Rask has eight goals and 17 points. Noah Hanifin is their leading producer on the blue line with nine points. The team ranks sixth in fewest goals scored and tied for 10th in goals against.

On the other side of the ice, the Rangers are hoping to bounce back from a 4-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday. They have a 9-4-1 home record and a 5-4-1 record over their last 10 games. New York’s +28 goal differential is the best in the NHL. Led by the league’s highest scoring offense, they also feature a future Hall of Famer in goal in Henrik Lundqvist.
