Here’s how the College Football Playoff could potentially shake out when it’s officially announced on Sunday.

The College Football Playoff will finally be revealed on Sunday. The job of the committee won’t be any easier as they have some tough decisions to make. With conference championships being decided on Friday and Saturday, we now have an idea of who the four teams will be.

The big question is whether or not the committee will put the Big Ten Champion Penn State Nittany Lions in the big dance. There’s plenty of debate to be had and there will be someone good that gets snubbed after it’s all said and done. The prevailing thought here is to go with the same top four that the committee has had the last two weeks.

The Ohio State Buckeyes were the only one of the top four from the past two weeks to not play in a conference championship game. That’s where all the talk and debate will be, but after their win over Michigan it’s going to be hard to keep them out.

Washington did a great job of beating Colorado. They flexed their muscles on defense and showed that they have all the facets of a team necessary to compete for a National Championship. The showdown with Alabama feels inevitable.

A match between the Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers seems likely too. Deshaun Watson and the Tigers managed to hold on to win the ACC Championship on Saturday night. With just one loss on their record, the Tigers are probably a lock too.
