Looking at the start time, TV channel, and more for the 2016 College Football Playoff Selection Show
After 14 weeks and a finale of conference championships on Saturday, we’ve finally reached the prelude to the college football postseason. On Sunday afternoon, the 2016 College Football Playoff Selection Show will take place and all of the lingering questions will be answered. Who’s in, where are these teams playing, and who is left on the outside with rightful gripes for being left out of the top-four?
Perhaps the only real certainty entering the College Football Playoff Selection Show is that the Alabama Crimson Tide are going to be the No. 1 seed. After going undefeated in the regular season, they capped things off on Saturday with a mauling of the Florida Gators in the SEC Championship game.
The other four teams in-play for the final three spots in the College Football Playoff all have viable cases. You have the ACC Champions in the Clemson Tigers who have just one loss. Another one-loss team in the mix is the Washington Huskies, winners out of the Pac-12. Then things get dicey out of the Big Ten. While the Ohio State Buckeyes have one loss, that loss was to the Penn State Nittany Lions. And those same Lions won the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night. Therefore, things are complicated entering Sunday.

They want to see what the CFP committee ultimately determines and/or values. That’s why everyone is ready to tune into the College Football Playoff Selection Show. The special will air on ESPN at Noon ET on Sunday when the decision will finally be made.
Yes, there is going to be a mix of joy and disdain from the teams in and teams left out. It’s certainly worth tuning in as a fan to let all of it soak in.
