The 2016 College Football Playoff Selection Show will announce the teams who’ve done enough to play for a National Championship. How to watch online.
Conference champions have been decided, the big names in college football have made their case, and now it’s time for the 2016 College Football Playoff Selection Show. On Sunday, the committee will deliberate and make their final decisions. In the end, four college football teams will earn the right to compete for a National Championship. Then, of course, there will be the others that came up just short.
As of right now, it feels like the only lock for the College Football Playoff would be the Alabama Crimson Tide. After another perfect season and a dominant SEC Championship win, they are likely to be the No. 1 seed. It’s behind the Tide where things get tricky.
The Washington Huskies and Clemson Tigers won their conference title games on Friday and Saturday, respectively, and were in the top-four heading into Week 14. However, the Ohio State Buckeyes joined them in the rankings, but weren’t even in the Big Ten title game. The winner there was the Penn State Nittany Lions, who now have a viable case for getting in. Subsequently, someone deserving is likely to be left out in the cold. Needless to say, the Selection Show should be high drama.
Of course, ESPN has the broadcast of the 2016 College Football Playoff Selection Show. You can also stream the show online by using the WatchESPN service. Access the stream online or through the ESPN app by logging in with a cable or satellite subscription.
