Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee shows the world that punters can have swag as well.
Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee is not afraid to douse an opponent with swag after a booming punt.
That’s rare, because many times we don’t see punters carrying swagger onto the field. Usually, after a good punt, they high-five, fist pump or just trot off the field like it’s just another day at the office.
But not McAfee.
McAfee is a punter that lives for the moment, and he did that and more after pinning down the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. The Jets, for lack of a better word, are nadir so far, falling behind 14-0 to a Colts team that is playing some pretty desperate football right now.

After completing a punt that put the Jets deep in their own end of the field, McAfee decided to unleash “The McAfee Show” on a silent sellout crowd at the Meadowlands, pumping his chest and waving to the crowd that could have liked what they were seeing on the field.

It was more salt on a wound that the Jets can’t seem to heal. In a season which held so much promise, the Jets are 3-8 and are staring down the barrel of another losing season.
The Colts, meanwhile, are in the midst of a disappointing season themselves and are trying to frantically get back into the playoff picture before the time runs out. That would be sweet because that means that we will get to witness more of “The McAfee Show.”
