High Value SG

Sean Kilpatrick-Brooklyn Nets (5,600): The Nets guard has been a regular in my FanDuel daily picks all season and he continues to thrive in Kenny Atkinson’s offense. Kilpatrick has leveled off a little after some early season highs-and-lows and produced a very solid 23 fantasy points or more in each of his last six. One of those games was his 52.8-fantasy-point explosion against the Clippers, but even in his non-explosive games he produces solid production. Tonight against the Wizards, he’s one of my favorite options under 6K.

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,500): Hood returned from a hamstring injury with 26.7 fantasy points on Saturday against the Nuggets on 15-6-1 with two steals in 28 minutes. He has at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last five games and continues to be a steady contributor for the Jazz. Tonight, he’s in a good matchup against the banged-up Lakers (more on that in a minute) who are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SG this season.

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angles Lakers (5,200): Clarkson has been a disappointment on the Lakers road trip and was held under 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He only had 8-4-2 for 13.8 fantasy points on Saturday in a prime place to produce in Memphis. His minutes were a little reduced in that game by Lou Williams’ 40-point performance. Tonight, though, Clarkson is still the Lakers guard I like the most with D’Angelo Russell, Nick Young, and Jose Calderon all sidelined. He could draw the start at PG or still come off the bench, but I think he’ll have a bounce-back game either way at home against the Jazz who don’t have George Hill leaving Shelvin Mack and Dante Exum to try to slow down Clarkson and the Lakers non-injured guards.

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (5,200): Barton has looked great in his two games back after battling an ankle injury. He had 32.9 fantasy points against Houston on Friday and played 34 minutes on the second night of back-to-back games and totaled 34 fantasy points against the Jazz on 20-5-4. Tonight, he and the Nuggets take on the 76ers in a good matchup for him to continue his recent production. Barton has long been one of my favorites in my FanDuel daily picks and I love the upside he brings at just over 5K tonight.

Troy Daniels-Memphis Grizzlies (4,200): If you’re planning on dropping under 5K, Daniels is an interesting option to take a look at who came up huge for my FanDuel daily picks on Saturdsy against the Lakers. He finished with 31-2-4 and a massive 43.4 fantasy points giving him at least 22 fantasy points in three straight. With the Grizzlies in need of offensive playmakers, Daniels has been a needed jolt of scoring. He doesn’t add a ton outside of his scoring, but at just 4K he has a lot of upside as he comes into tonight’s matchup with the Pelicans.

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (3,600): If you have to go sub-4K at SG, my top option would be Allen Crabbe of the Blazers. He gets 20+ minutes of playing time most night sand has posted 15 and 16 points in his last two games for 16.2 and 21.6 fantasy points. Crabbe also had 15 points and 25.3 fantasy points against the Bulls in their last matchup in the middle of last month, so he should be able to get you enough to be a solid punt play at the position tonight.
