5-6. Previous: . Indianapolis Colts. 22. team. 46. Despite their season-long struggles, the Colts can tie the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans for the top spot in their division if they can knock off the New York Jets. Indianapolis’ defense doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence these days, ranked 30th in the NFL in both total yards and passing yards allowed per game. Quarterback Andrew Luck (concussion protocol) returns to the lineup after missing the Thanksgiving night tilt with the Steelers. He looks to take advantage of a shaky New York secondary that has allowed a slew of big plays this season. Look for wideout T.Y. Hilton to try and exploit veteran cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Next Week: This is a crucial seven-day stretch for Chuck Pagano’s struggling squad. After visiting the Jets, the Colts return home to face the Texans. Back in Week 6, Indianapolis squandered a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter on a Sunday night at Houston and eventually fell in overtime, 26-23. The Texans seek their first-ever season sweep of the Colts.

Draft Talk: At 5-6, the Colts are hardly out of the race for the top spot in the AFC South. But this team still has a lot of issues in terms of talent. In April, general manager Ryan Grigson did address the offensive line with four picks and used four other selections on defense. But it may be time for the club to add a pair of young legs at running back.
