A look at how to watch Monday’s college basketball game between Omaha and the Iowa State Cyclones.

On Monday night, there will be a limited slate of college basketball games. One of them will be between the Omaha Mavericks and Iowa State Cyclones from the James H. Hilton Coliseum in Ames, IA. This is ISU’s seventh and Omaha’s eighth games of the season.

Iowa State started the season red-hot, as they won their first five games of the season. However, once they got to tougher competition, things started to take a turn for the worst. This included a loss to No. 11 Gonzaga and Cincinnati in the past two games. These defeats were by a combined three points, though, and the Cincy game went into overtime. Could these just be blips on the radar then?

The Omaha game will be one for the Cyclones to use to get back on track. They will then face Iowa, Drake, Mississippi Valley State, and Texas Tech, all of which are winnable contests. Their Big 12 schedule will then get deep with Baylor and Texas, so now may be the time for Iowa State to rack up wins now before things get tough.
