Barcelona face Borussia Monchengladbach at the Camp Nou on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Barcelona play host to Borussia Monchengladbach in the final matchday of the Champions League group stages. The game can have no effect on the final outcome of the group, and it’s likely both sides could rest players in order to focus on their respective league campaigns. However, the Catalan side may want to prove a point after a disappointing result in the weekend’s El Clasico.

Luis Enrique’s side led 1-0 through a Luis Suarez header but were pegged back by a late Sergio Ramos goal. That result has left them trailing their arch rivals by six points in La Liga and it might not be long before fans are calling for Enrique’s head. The former Barcelona player has already had two seasons in charge and although he has been successful in both of them, expectations from Barcelona supporters are very high. A win over Monchengladbach won’t do much to silence doubters but it could help him with the board of the club who will be a little worried right now.

Borussia Monchengladbach will rue their disappointing home draw with Celtic as that is the result which has denied them progression from the group stages. They are only three points behind Manchester City but the Manchester club have the superior record in their head-to-head tie-breaker. The German side are already into the next round of the Europa League as Celtic cannot catch them in the group. This means they also have nothing to play for apart from pride.
