High Value PG

Tyler Johnson-Miami Heat (5,200): Johnson has stepped up for the injury-riddled Heat and played much more SG than his typical backup PG role. He has still been contributing in multiple categories, though, with at least 26 fantasy points in each of his last three contests and five of his last six. With Dion Waiters, Justise Winslow, and James Johnson out and Josh Richardson and Luke Babbitt questionable, there should still be plenty of opportunities for Johnson to continue his solid multi-category work.

Sergio Rodriguez-Philadelphia 76ers (4,600): Jerryd Bayless missed another game last night and is officially day-to-day as he continues to try to avoid season-endging surgery. Bayless had a platelet-rich plasma injection, but he still hasn’t been able to return. In his continued absence, Rodriguez has been an excellent fantasy option in the Philadelphia backcourt. The Spanish PG has at least 22 fantasy points in five straight and had his best game of the season last night against Denver posting 35.3 fantasy points on 17-4-7 and three steals. The Nuggets have been generous to opposing PG all season, but Rodriguez is still a good play again tonight at this price as he and the Sixers travel to Memphis to face whatever Grizzlies players can get healthy enough to take the court in Memphis. Bayless out-∗ Bayless in-

Andrew Harrison-Memphis Grizzlies (4,300): Speaking of the Grizzlies, Harrison continues to start and log all the minutes he can handle at PG in place of Mike Conley. Last night, Harrison played a whopping 40 minutes but managed just 20.3 fantasy points. He did have 33.4 and 27.8 fantasy points in two starts last week, but his offensive game still has a ways to go before that becomes a reliable output from him. He’s high-risk, high-reward against Rodriguez and the Sixers.

Patty Mills-San Antonio Spurs (4,300): If Tony Parker is out tonight as expected, Mills will pick up much of the work even if Nicolas Laprovittola moves into the starting lineup against Minnesota. Mills has scored double-digit points in four of his last six games and had at least 19 fantasy points in each of those four outings. He did have a rough game last night in Milwaukee scoring just one point and adding five assists for 9.7 fantasy points. However, with more responsibility, I think he’ll be back around 25 fantasy points tonight against Minnesota making him a good buy at this price. I think he’s a slightly better play than Harrison if Parker is confirmed out.
