If the Basketball Gods see fit, a future that features those two squaring off for Eastern Conference titles is a future that I want to live in. Back to the present, the Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, and Porzingis trio is starting to gel and that alone makes the New York Knicks 100000 times better than they’ve been since Jason Kidd was a spot up shooter for them. Anthony’s ability to call to life his big play, All-Star moments when needed are huge for this team. Allowing Porzingis to organically grow into the superstar unicorn we all know he will soon become is the best outcome for the Knicks franchise. As long as health remains a concern for only Joakim Noah, this year’s Knicks team has a chance of returning to the postseason and that alone should be reason enough for New Yorkers to be happy with what this team has become.. 11-9.
