Previous: . Memphis Grizzlies. 11. team. 211. The Memphis Grizzlies were on their way to reclaiming their spot as one of the top teams in the Western Conference when the dreaded injury bug bit them once again. In November alone, the team has lost Chandler Parsons (knee bruise), James Ennis (calf strain), Vince Carter (hip flexor strain), and Mike Conley (fractured vertebrae) to injury and they are also without Sixth Man of the Year candidate Zach Randolph who is away from the team following the passing of his mother. Marc Gasol’s 3-point shooting can only carry the remainder of the roster to so many wins. Getting 31 points off the bench from 3-point marksman Troy Daniels will certainly help, but even that was only enough to get the Grizzlies a three-point win over a depleted Lakers team. They certainly need to get healthy in order for them to have a shot at the goals they set out for themselves heading into the season. But having the injuries now is a whole hell of a lot better than the timing they had a year ago. They basically were forced into fielding a NBA Development League team in the playoffs last year.. 13-8
