The Butler Bulldogs face the Indiana State Sycamores on Wednesday at the Hulman Center. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
What the Butler Bulldogs have built in college basketball is one of the more impressive feats in the country. They’ve truly built a force in the hoops world that can compete year-after-year on a national level. And 2016 is no let-down in this regard. After an 8-0 start and knocking on the door of the top 15 in the polls, they now head to the Hulman Center for a date with the Indiana State Sycamores on Wednesday.
After establishing himself last season, Butler’s Kelan Martin has again started out strong in 2016. His 18.1 points per game through eight games leads the Bulldogs by a wide margin. However, it’s a balanced attack behind him with the likes of Andrew Chrabascz and Avery Woodson that truly make this team tick.
Indiana State may only be 4-4 on the season, but they present a tough road test for Butler. Junior guard Brenton Scott is a stud, averaging 19.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game to start the season. He’ll lead the way at home on Wednesday. However, the question is if he can do enough to pull off the upset for the Sycamores.

Butler looks again to be a powerhouse in college basketball and a team no one wants to face. That certainly includes an up-and-down Indiana State team. On the Sycamores home floor, though, they could be feeling an upset. Therefore, the Bulldogs will need to stay on their toes.
