High Value C

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (5,600): Plumlee continues to plug along and turn in solid across-the-board production. He was limited to just 23 minutes against the Bulls but still had 26.75 fantasy points giving him at least that many in six straight and eight of his last nine. He is producing at his best when he’s turning in assists, so look for those numbers to go up tonight if you deploy him against the Bucks in Milwaukee. ∗∗∗

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (5,500): Capela has been solid lately and is showcasing a lot of the upside that made the Rockets ready to move on from Dwight Howard. Capela has at least 26 fantasy points in 11 of his last 13 games including a run of five straight where he had 29 fantasy points or more. Tonight, he is set up for success against the Lakers who are allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing centers over their last five games behind only the Knicks. Capela should be good for at least a double-double with good blocks in tonight’s game in Houston.

John Henson-Milaukee Bucks (4,700): Henson has long been one of my favorite value plays since when the minutes come his way he has always delivered. Jason Kidd has been giving him consistent playing time lately, and he has at least 22 fantasy points in each of his last five games including three over 30. He had a season-high 38.25 fantasy points against the Magic on 20-7-1 and three blocks and almost exactly matched that with 20-7-2 and two blocks for 37.25 fantasy points on Saturday against the Nets. Tonight, he goes head-to-head with Mason Plumlee and the Blazers who have suspect interior defense. If you have to spend under 5K, Henson is definitely my top option to consider.

Bismack Biyombo-Orlando Magic (4,600): Biyombo is another cheap center who is a regular in my FAnDuel daily pick and came through for me last night with 14-13-2 and three blocks for 39.75 fantasy points against the Wizards. While that was his season-high, he has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is getting good minutes since moving into the starting lineup. ∗∗∗

Kyle O’Quinn-New York Knicks (3,900):  Joakim Noah is back but remains on a minutes restriction which has opened up opportunities for O’Q. He has risen to the occasion with  at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last three games including 20-13-2 for 43.75 fantasy points against the Wolves and 12-7-3 for 30.75 fantasy points against the Heat last night.
