High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (11,400): Harden had another huge game against Boston on Monday putting up 27-8-8 with three steals and ten turnovers in just 35 minutes. He finished that game with 61.5 fantasy points and has reached at least that number in three of his last five. Harden hasn’t quite played up to his 11K+ salary lately, so he’s high risk even though he could definitely take advantage of the Lakers banged-up backcourt tonight. Harden was at his best earlier this season when he was around 13-15 assists per game but he has been held under ten assists in three of his last four.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (6,600): Batum is an under-rated pick who shows up in  my DraftKings daily picks pretty often since he’s low-risk and produces so well across the board. Batum has over 33 fantasy points in each of his last three games and 52.5 fantasy points and 43.75 in his last two. He’s playing big minute for Charlotte alongside Kemba Walker and is worth a look tonight even in a tough matchup against Detroit.

Avery Bradley-Boston Celtics  (6,300): Everyone will be in on Klay Thompson for good reason, and he’s normally my go-to in this price point in my DrafTKings daily picks. However, tonight I’m going to go with Avery Bradley instead since he could be asked to do more on offense with IT4 injured. Bradley has at least 33 fantasy points in three straight and five of his last seven. He had another double-double against the Rockets with 16-10-1 on Monday and is a low-risk play tonight with good upside against Orlando.

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (6,200): Barton has been a great deal in my DraftKings daily picks since returning from his lingering ankle injury. In his three games back, Barton has posted 34.75 fantasy points, 37.75 fantasy points, and 73 fantasy points. He has at least 20 points in each of his last two games and should be able to produce another big stat line tonight as he takes on the Nets. He’s not as much of a value as he was at under 6K, but he is still a solid play since he should be over 30 fantasy points again tonight.

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (6,100): Williams is in a good matchup against the Rockets who are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG this season. Williams has found his scoring touch in his last two games dropping 40 points against the Grizz on Saturday and 38 points against Utah on Monday.  His Monday game was actually a little better from a fantasy perspective since he totaled 58.5 fantasy points on 38-6-7. While I doubt he’ll go off for those crazy numbers tonight, he should be able to put up good numbers based on the matchup and the playing time he’ll get with all the injuries in LA’s backcourt.
