Real Madrid face Borussia Dortmund at the Bernabeu on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have secured passage to the Champions League knockout rounds. Their matchup on Wednesday will decide the winner of Group F. Dortmund need a win or a draw to hang onto the top spot while Real must win as they trail BVB by two points.

After drawing with Barcelona in the latest edition of El Clasico this weekend, Real Madrid sit six points clear of their rivals at the top of the La Liga table. Manager Zinedine Zidane insists that his club want to win the group, but it would not be surprising if the Real Madrid legend rests a few of his key players. While fans of soccer will be hoping to see Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch today, it may not be worth the risk, at least to the Real staff.

Dortmund have struggled in the Bundesliga as of late (currently in sixth place), but got a huge 4-1 victory against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday to keep them within three points of third-place Hertha Berlin. American international Christian Pulisic was a second-half sub in that game and should feature against Real. BVB would love to get a result at the Bernabeu, clinching Group F over their giant opponents.

Winning Group F over Real Madrid would be a nice feather in the cap for Dortmund, but, with a place in the round of 16 already secured, it isn’t of grave concern. Still, both clubs will be keen to get a win as they head towards the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
