Kansas Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill hauled in a pass from Alex Smith to give the Chiefs the lead over the Raiders.
With plenty of implications in an AFC West battle, the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders didn’t give an inch early against each other. Although there was a turnover and a turnover on downs, both teams locked in and refused to let the other in the end zone. That all changed in the second quarter, when rookie sensation Tyreek Hill found himself on the receiving end of a great pass from Alex Smith.
As Smith sat back in the pocket, Hill was able to use his speed to gain separation from the defender and get open in the end zone. Smith dropped the ball right into the hands of Hill and the Chiefs took the lead at home over their rivals.

Hill has been making plays like this all year for Kansas City. He does a great job of using his speed to force the defender to try and keep coverage on him and his footwork takes him the rest of the way for the touchdown.
The Raiders came into the game with the division lead over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs know that with a win they can tie the raiders and take over the lead in the division. Smith made several great throws early and proved he can hit the deep pass.
That hasn’t always been part of the quarterback that he is, but with a guy like Hill on the roster, it makes things a lot easier to go down the field. It was the sixth touchdown of the year for the young receiver.
